Consumer confidence in the U.S. is widely anticipated to weaken for the third month in November, with economists forecasting the Conference Board’s index to fall to 47.5 from 47.7 in the previous month, and the data is likely to reinforce a weakened outlook for the region as private-sector spending accounts for more than two-thirds of the economy.
